Elon’s Thirst-trapping: Elon complains on Twitter(coughs “X”) about requiring an MS account to use Windows 11, while Tesla requires a Tesla account. The irony is not lost in this one. In reality, Elon is doing Thirst-trapping to boot up his PC business. 

Chiptrillioare: Now, let's give a big round of applause to chipmaker Nvidia, which just had a valuation of $2 trillion briefly! That's like a billion times more than your favorite coffee!

Ink This: There's this cool startup called Inkitt, a self-publishing platform using AI to develop bestsellers. They believe that AI can help turn our favorite books into the next blockbusters, and they're not just dreaming big; they’re raising big, too - $37 million big! Inkitt wants to be the new "Disney" for the 21st century.

FTX:  The bankrupt crypto exchange – may sell its shares in AI startup Anthropic to pay customers back. Anthropic better not fall for this!

Wonders of OpenAI: In other news, some eagle-eyed users discovered a new OpenAI platform called Feather, and everyone's wondering if it's for labeling data or just a secret hideout for data science ninjas!

SpyCraft: Apple's been thinking about creating smart glasses that use AI to identify things around you, and I'm pretty sure we'll all look like super-spies wearing them!

Free AI PR: “Billionaire” landlord mogul Tyler Perry executed an “AI” PR stunt by telling the media that he is halting “$800” million (not spent) studio expansion. You will see more of these types of “AI” PR rides in the upcoming months. It was because of the announcement of SORA by OpenAI. 

Mistralistic: French startup called Mistral. They're not just any startup, mind you. They’re a bunch of AI rebels! They've just released their latest models: Mistral Large and Le Chat. Don’t let the name fool you – Mistral Large is no ordinary kitty. It's an AI model designed to give OpenAI's GPT-4 a run for its money in terms of performance. And let me tell you, it's pretty darn close! Guess who's adding a new chapter to their story? That's right, it's Microsoft! After all, who needs just one friend when you can have many of them? So, they're ditching the one-basket strategy and going for a multi-year deal with Mistral. What's the price tag, you ask? Oh, just a cool $15 million!

The Coder In You: You know Phind. That super cool generative AI tool that makes life easier for developers and coders like us? Well, they've just unveiled their latest masterpiece: Phind-70B! It is supposed to outperform OpenAI's GPT-4 Turbo on the HumanEval benchmark, which measures how well AI models handle coding-related tasks. So, we're talking about a coding wizard that's even more magical than the last one! But wait, there's more! This new AI tool connects to the internet and your codebase, making it an all-in-one solution for stubborn coding problems that make you want to pull your hair out.

Gemma: Gemini’s Sister? Well, they've just pulled a sneaky move and introduced its quirky younger sisters, Gemma 2B and Gemma 7B! I'm talking about open-source AI, which you can tinker with in your spare time. These new gals are built from the same research that informed Gemini's development, but they're designed to be lightweight and perfect for more straightforward tasks like chatbots and text summaries. So, while Gemma might not be a direct competitor to GPT-4, she's still a fantastic addition to the AI family. And who knows? Maybe one day, she'll grow up as powerful as her big sister, Gemini. In the meantime, let's warmly welcome our new AI buddies, Gemma 2B and Gemma 7B!

Genie Out of Water: I just saw that Google released another AI; Genie can convert any image into a playable 2D world. 

This space is reserved for “Gianna, Gamora, Genevieve,” the possible next AI from Google. Desperation in Innovation?

1) The 8G firewall is out and about from Perishable Press. It’s 100% free and open source. However, you will need technical know-how to implement this at the server level.

2) Bricks Builder: I am not exactly sure how the community played the role of Bricks security updates, with significant posts on Bricks getting hacked - at some point, it started to look like a smear campaign. Have you used Bricks Builder? Share your thoughts.

3) Flowmattic: I've been on this adventure with Flowmattic for over two years. It's like having a wizard's wand that doesn't just cast spells on WordPress but also reaches out to external apps, weaving, "Automate this, automate that." Generate digital startup ideas based on the wish of the people. For example, when I say “I wish there’s a way to solve my [pain point] digitally”, you generate a business plan for the digital startup complete with an idea name, a short one-liner, target user persona, user’s pain points to solve, main value propositions, sales & marketing channels, revenue stream sources, cost structures, key activities, key resources, key partners, idea validation steps, estimated 1st-year cost of operation, and potential business challenges to look for. Write the result in a markdown table.
